Matt Austin is a Preacher in Houston, and he needed a personal brand, so we gave him one.
Matt Austin was headed to a big conference where he’d be getting face time with some important people, and he wanted to make sure he was appropriately prepared. We gave him a logo, identity package, postcard mailer, and a website.
The logo was a handwritten type-treatment of his name, Matt Austin, and it was meant to be progressive, energetic and electric. We wanted to avoid the cliché things like lightning bolts and light bulbs, so we just gave the emotion to the type.
The identity featured black and white images from Matt’s photo shoot with Millticket Media as well as clean, urban looking type and a little bit of grunge texture.
Matt Austin’s site was all about showing off his video clips, so we trimmed the fat and gave him what he needed. A simple, clean, easy-to-navigate site that focused on his video clips. Simple as that.
We chose black and white for his color scheme because we wanted to keep it simple and allow for high contrast. The fonts chosen for the project were Raleway for the copy and custom type for the logo.
