This branding design was done for Dope Society Clothing.
The client wanted a very clean and minimal typographic design without any icons or symbology. They didn’t want anything too modern, either. Dope Society is an urban clothing brand based in Houston, TX, and they really wanted to solidify their identity, so they called us for branding design. After discussing several styles and designs, it became very evident that this was a “We’ll know when we see it” type of project when it came to the identity. After a few preliminary designs, we nailed it.
For the website, they needed something very minimal again. Really, they just wanted a place to post things that didn’t really belong on social media. That’s exactly what they got.
The colors chosen for the branding design were black and white in attempt to portray a clean, respectable, less is more type of feeling. The fonts chosen were Hardball and a one of a kind “hand-style” graffiti lettering.
We also design many of their graphic tees, and above are a few of our favorites. There’s the logo tee, the hand-style tee, the baseball tee, the Jack Daniels tee, and the Monroe tee. The names of the tees are pretty self explanatory.
